Scorn brings nightmarish first-person horror to Xbox Series X
Ebb Software has debuted its new commencement-person horror adventure game, Scorn, showcased amidst the first wave of Xbox Series X titles at Microsoft's outset gameplay showcase. Unveiled via a chilling atmospheric trailer, the trailer offers a grim, gore-heavy tone — a glimpse of the overall setting for the project.
Scorn has been in development for over one-half a decade, with a recent delay seeing the game land among early Xbox Serial 10 titles. The studio stresses an emphasis on the environment equally an integral "character" to the feel, with each location featuring singled-out stories and puzzles, shaping an identity throughout.
The unsettling tone notably channels themed popularized by H.R. Giger, an artist famed for his contributions toward the Alien franchise.
Scorn is headed to Xbox Serial X and Windows PC, with no mention of Xbox Ane or PlayStation platforms, as of reveal.
